All shotguns must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder for delivery to the buyer. An original signed copy of the receiving dealer's FFL must be mailed to Schnee's and received before the order can be processed. Your credit card will be charged for the purchase price and shipping cost prior to sending the shotgun to the receiving dealer. Information regarding shipping charges can be found here. Shotguns are not considered oversized items. Therefore standard shipping rates apply. In addition to shipping charges, an insurance charge of $35 will be added to all shotgun orders.
The receiving dealer will complete the required state and federal transfer paperwork and background check. The buyer must pass the Federal background check before the gun can be handed over to the buyer. Depending upon the receiving dealer, there may be a small transfer and process fee charged by the receiving dealer. The order may also be subject to local and state sales tax. In the event that the buyer fails to pass a background check, the gun will be shipped back to Schnee's Powder Horn Outfitters, and the buyer will receive a refund, less a $100 charge for shipping and handling.
Schnee's Powder Horn Outfitters does not sell firearms or firearm parts to foreign countries.
