Great Boots

These boots are all that. I put the felt insoles in the bottom for my longer rides. I can do everything in these boots from sledding with the kids to riding and working to hunting birds. They are very comfortable and warm.
The right tool for the job

10,000+ft, freezing temperatures, multiple snow storms, miles of hiking and riding each day -- proved these were the perfect boots. No matter if you're hiking through steep dark timber or in stirrups, you'll feel comfortable and secure. A successful elk hunt didn't hurt either.
A winter riding boot that is warm & functional

Finally, a winter riding boot that is warm and functional. I've been riding in sub-zero weather for the past 2 days and haven't even noticed my feet! Thanks for a great quality product that really delivers.
Amazing boot

I have been looking for a good pac for hunting for a year or so, and when i came across these boots i was kind of skeptical because of the price.....
but after i found out that they are rebuildable I thought why not?
this past weekend i went and set up elk camp and the snow was about up to my knees and it was -2. I was worried that my feet would get to hot because I was active, but my feet never got too cold or hot and i didn't even wear that thick of socks

I rode for hours and days in these boots, hauled mules up from Arkansas to Montana to hunt in temps about 12 degrees and the wind up to 30+ mph. Snow up to hock deep....never got the least bit chilled feet....wore 1 pair merino wool socks, and had great traction on snow and ice, worked great on side hills, and also no trouble with foot hanging in stirrup getting on or off either side, casually or in a hurry...am a gal with ladies size 8 feet, and they fit well and supported ankles etc, but still a nice roomy feel with the wool socks.....great, warm well made product that works for RIDERS, and that is a plus. Hope they never quit making these!
Longevity & Resole

I have had my Schnees cowboy felt pack boots for 15 years and they have worn like a horseshoe with drill tech or borium on them. I wear them almost daily here in North Dakota, and have been hunting elk in the Rockies. My boots have always been waterproof too while standing in water. However, I recently had them resoled. They look like brand new again but my feet got wet when I crossed a creek. I will be putting some seam sealer on them and hopefully they will stay dry.

I run a cattle ranch with over 350 mother cows. I lace my boots up at 5:30am and they don't come off till 9:00pm, (some times later). The tempratures can range from -20 to +40 in the winter and no matter what the temprature, the work must still get done. Having the proper equipment to keep warm and dry makes the job a lot more enjoyable. So i bought a pair of Schnee's 14" westerns and I haven't had a cold or wet foot yet. These are the most cumfortable pac boots I have ever owned. Good ankle support, and your socks stay put (no more wading around your toes). Be it mucking through the corrals, wading through deep snow or sitting on a horse for eight hours, these boots preform absolutely fabulous. Thank you Schnee's. Keep up the good work.

If you're going to be in extremely wet conditions, we recommend Plastiseam Seam Sealer to reinforce the stitching and joint where the rubber meets the leather, so water can't sneak through the pin holes.
