The most requested elk decoy out west, the Montana Decoy Elk I is great for all elk hunting purposes. Like all Montana Decoys, Elk I is a two-dimensional, photo realistic hunting decoy. The body of the decoy is a print of a high-quality cow elk photo on a cotton/polyester fabric. This picture is mirrored and printed on the opposite side so your game will always see the decoy from any direction it approaches. To keep the material erect, a steel band is sewn in between the two pieces of printed material. This steel band allows the decoy to be twisted and folded to a third of its full size and easily stowed in your hunting pack. In order to finish the assembly of the decoy, leg poles are provided to hold the unit in position. These poles are inserted into sleeves that have been sewn into the decoy.
