Very comfortable boot. I have owned 3 pair,two with GTX one with out. I wear them every day for work, and I also use them for hiking. These last me about two years, then I have worn them out. I have used them for several 8-9 day hikes, carrying a full pack of 40-60 lbs. I have always had good luck with Merrill products.
