Took these new boots sheep hunting in Alaska a few weeks ago. Great on steeps, rocks and side step hills. Good support for large heavy packs. I wore gore tex rain pants and tied them around the boot with parachute cord and waded at least a dozen streams and my feet stayed dry. Worth every penny.
Like a Rock

The SCHNEE'S Granite boot is a great boot for optimal foot and ankle support in the most difficult of terrain. I have used snowshoes and cramp-on's in the Granite plus packed very heavy loads and felt very supported in all conditions. The Granite is a great buy for the outdoors man that is looking for the best hands down.

Amazing Hiking Boots
By: Calvin Olson - Bozeman, MT May 13, 2012
I've owned these boots for several months now and they are amazing. They give unparalleled ankle support and are completely water proof. I was somewhat concerned about them making my feet to hot on long hikes, but my worries were unfounded, after hiking roughly 100 miles in these I have had zero issues. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for a serious backpacking/hiking boot that will last a long time.

Just wanted to thank you guys for making what I consider the best hunting boot out there. I have hunted for over one hundred days so far this year and have relied soley on my schnees Granite boots and they have not let me down. I Guided three months in the NWT for sheep, moose and caribou and there was not one day that I had to slow down because of foot trouble. Keep up the great job and the tremendous service.
Granite Boots are superior mountain boots
By: Allen Weinert - Montana City, MT Jun 6, 2013
The best mountain boot I have ever used. I have also used Kennetrek and Cabelas Mendl boots and the Schnees boots are far superior. They are relatively light weight, warm, very supportive and comfortable from day one. My Granite boots kept my feet warm and dry hiking and riding horses through rugged Kyrgystan mountains up to 14,400 ft in snow and rock and I have hiked and hunted countless miles through the mountains of Montana without a blister or complaint.
Schnee's Granite 1st Impression
By: Eddie Triplett - Cleveland, TN Jul 9, 2013
After researching mountain boots extensively, I stepped up and bought the Granite. The plan is to put 150+ miles on these preparing for a backpack goat hunt in September 2014. Well, I've had them 1 week, logged 10 weighted miles on rocky trails and I must say, I'm blown away by the fit & feel of these boots. They are true to size and I haven't had so much as a warm spot much less a blister. At this point, unless they blow up over time & miles, I would highly recommend these boots. I will follow up with a long term review after next year and the goat hunt.
Lace Hooks Almost Failed
By: Charlie - Indianapolis, IN Oct 8, 2013
Bought these boots for an Alaska sheep hunt. The metal lacing hooks are soft, and bent too far back to lace up the boot. I bent the hook back into place and fortunately it didn't break. Could have been a real disaster on the side of a mountain.
Great boot excellent service

I wore these boots for three elk seasons (bow & rifle). Over 200 miles through deep snow and many stream x-ings and never had wet feet. After this season I noticed that the sole of one boot had cracked all the way through in the forefoot in two places. I brought the boots into Schnees today & they gave me a new pair with no questions asked. I rate the quality of the boots as a 4 & the customer service as a 5. thank you Schnee's I'll be a customer for life.

These are Hands Down the bests boots I've bought! Well worth the money
By: Juan e Martin jr - Henderson , NV Jan 5, 2015
I have now worn these boots through two years hunting elk in Idaho, Stone's sheep in British Columbia, and mule deer here in my home state of Nevada. I encountered heat, rain and deep snow with very cold temperatures. I carried a pack for 14 days in B.C. And honestly climbed some serious mountain terrain as anyone can attest who has hunted sheep! These boots are and were unbelievably comfortable from the get go. Never a blister and traction upon which you can trust your life. If your boots are not comfortable and if your feet are cold or wet you will be miserable and your hunt will be ruined. These boots are like having insurance, always there protecting you from the bad stuff.
BUY THESE BOOTS, I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LOVE THEM AND WILL BE AN INVESTMENT FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT AND COMFORT !!!
