Ascent pant

I have a pair of the 2008 and 2009 ascent pants, they are made the same. The 08's have been worn 2 seasons for about 30 days and the stitching is blowing out of the seat. They also have a hole in them from sitting on the ground I guess. I haven't worn the 09's that long but I don't see why they won't end up in the same condition. Its to bad, I really liked these pants, they are great for early season hunting.

I've worn my Ascent pants on at least 2 dozen hunting trips from hot weather to very cold weather. They are very comfortable and quiet, the pockets are well placed. Great attention to detail especially on the little things. Looking forward to the Optifade this season

Be sure to buy the core bottoms with these pants, the burrs seem to attract the burrs, the only pain I see, love the side slim zippered pockets
Ascent Pants

These have to be the most comfortable pants out there with a great cut and features. They are also very quiet but not durable at all. I have acquired 8 tears after 1 year of hunting ranging from minor to career ending.
Be Warned, Schnee's has some shipping department issues. I aquired these pants from an faulty order my brother placed when he ordered 90% Pants. I ordered Mountain pants to replace my Ascents but was sent the wrong size. A real bummer.
Favorite Hunting Pants

Two seasons of use and abuse on my Ascent pants and they are still going strong! I have worn these pants hunting sheep and caribou in the Brooks Range of Alaska and across my home state of MT chasing elk, mule deer & bear. These pants are durable & they don't bind on steep climbs, highly recommended!
