Spanning four generations of hunting expertise, Powder Horn Montana television seeks to capture the very best in western hunting from our home state of Montana, and throughout the West. From the wide diversity and quality of the free ranging game we hunt every season, to the quality of the locations and the spectacular scenery in which we are privileged to hunt, Powder Horn Montana captures the excitement, heart and soul of the most dramatic big game hunting in North America. Our shows are action packed, full of seldom seen images from the wild, and emphasize hunting action over commentary. Our goal is to establish Powder Horn Montana as the most authentic, highest production quality, and most loyally-followed programming in all of hunting television.

Established in 1946 by renowned hunter and outdoorsman, George Dieruf, The Powder Horn has outfitted serious hunters for more than 62 years. Located in a 100-year old building in the heart of historic Downtown Bozeman, Montana, the Powder Horn has amassed a body of knowledge and experience in hunting Montana and across the great Western Frontier that is second to none. The Powder Horn has one of the largest and most diverse collections of North American and African animals on display in its Bozeman, Montana headquarters.

Since 1946, our staff, customers and friends have amassed a large collection of trophy game along with a vast array of still and moving images from the field. We have extensive archive footage from the Western U.S., Canada, and Africa that rivals any collection in the country.

We intend to incorporate the rich history and heritage of western hunting into each episode of our program. While we will produce fresh episodes continually, our shows are seasoned with vintage photographs and video footage from the field which connects four generations of hunters in the great American west. We believe that our rich, 62-year heritage will bring added authenticity and richness to the current footage and episodes of our program.The host of our show is Jason Matzinger, an extremely talented young man and a gifted hunter, who possesses a tremendous amount of experience at a young age. Jason has grown up hunting, guiding and filming the best of Montana, and he is an extremely appealing and dynamic host. In addition to Jason, the show will feature an ensemble cast of characters from four generations of hunters.
