starstarstarstarstar Best hunting boot

By: Robb Larson - Bozeman Montana November 13, 2007
My Schees 10" hunters are the boots of choice for hunting and other outdoor activities around SW Montana. Bought them new in the mid-1990s, and I'm still on the original leather uppers. Presently on the 3rd set of rubber bottoms and 3rd set of replaceable liners. I use them for elk and deer hunting in all weather, they're great for long hunts with lots of walking in rough terrain. Also use them for snowmobiling, firewood gathering, etc. I must have 250+ hard days in these, still going strong.

starstarstarstarstar Bullet Proof

By: Jeff LaBour - Boise, Id October 25, 2007
Just completed my second year of wearing these boots while guiding hunters here in Idaho. As far as I'm concerned they're bullet proof. Through mud, snow, rocky hillsides, and rugged mountain terrain they've performed flawlessly. I've torn the lugs off the soles of other boots in just a couple of hunts but not these. Great boot.

starstarstarstarstar Excellent Elk Boot

By: Bill Flynn - Highlands Ranch CO October 18, 2007
I hunted for 5 days on dry ground to snow, melting into mud. The traction and comfort I got from your boots climbing mountain ridges was fantastic. Can't wait to try them in the cold goose hunting this winter.

starstarstarstarstar Very solid boot

By: Anonymous February 9, 2007
A friend turned me on to this boot. They seem very solid and warm. I've only used them for cold weather tree stand hunting so far and they are comfortable right out of the box. I can't wait to hike around in them. The removable liners are a great idea.

Product Details

Full grain leather 6-1/2 ounce full-grain oil tanned leather uppers provide support, protection, and durability. Supple, full-grain, oil tanned (not split) bellows tongues make for easy on/off and lacing comfort.

Brass eyelets, Taslon laces Solid brass logger eyelets and speed lacing hooks that won't corrode or bend open. Heavy duty Taslon laces for support and dependability in the field.

Removable quilted liner Schnee removable combination liners are quilted layers of Cambrelle nylon that wicks perspiration and improves durability, 400 gram Thinsulate™ insulation for significant warmth without the bulk of a normal pac style boot, and finally 3mm of wool felt on the outside of the liner adds comfort and insulates even when damp with perspiration.

Triple stitching Triple stitching with bonded nylon guaranteed not to fail for the life of the boots.

Handcrafted rubber bottom Handmade 100% rubber bottoms are waterproof, supportive, and durable. They feature firm thermal plastic heel counters that provide the support of an all leather boot and steel shanks that give arch support for comfortable walking all day long. We import the finest natural rubber bottoms that get pieced together by hand, then "vulcanized" the old-fashioned way. That makes them 100% waterproof.

Advantage air bob sole Schnee's exclusive Advantage outsole features soft air bobs in the center and firm lugs around the outside edge. The result is outstanding traction.

Fits in standard stirrup Most Schnee Pac Boots fit easily into standard stirrups. Boots with extra insulation like the Arctic series will require oversized stirrups.

Fully rebuildable Schnee's Pac Boots are completely rebuildable. For a nominal fee, the entire rubber bottom can be replaced along with repair to the leather uppers and new stitching where needed. This is another sign of the true quality of our pac boots. Find out more about our rebuild services.
